Originally trained as a psychologist, Relly transitioned into organizational coaching in 1995. His work has supported over 225 organizations in strengthening leadership, teamwork, engagement, and well-being.

A recognized voice in emotional intelligence, Relly is the author of eight books, including Leading with Emotional Intelligence, a Psychology Today contributor, and host of the long-running podcast Leadership Development News, where he has interviewed more than 600 leaders and experts. His approach blends science, positive psychology, neuroscience, and practical tools leaders can apply immediately. Results Achieved

In one leadership development engagement, Relly designed a seven-day leadership curriculum over four months and trained 100 managers and supervisors within a healthcare organization. He partnered with leaders and their teams to apply key leadership skills and improve overall team climate.

The program included 360-degree feedback for each participant, monthly executive coaching, and team-based sessions. In collaboration with the organization’s EVP of Human Resources, the initiative delivered an estimated ROI of $700,000 on an initial $100,000 investment.
